PEPFAR has provided funding to Mpilonhle since October 2007. They are the largest financial supporter of the program, providing funds for the operations of the three mobile units that Mpilonhle maintains, and for the central administrative structure of the organization.
PEPFAR funds for Mpilonhle are administered by USAID and then by Family Health International.
