OAN was with the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project the original philanthropies providing funds to Mpilonhle. OAN provided with CTAOP funded all of the start-up costs of the program, and OAN staff was essential in helping to get the program going, and overcoming hurdles it faced in its infancy.
OAN and it staff remain involved in support of Mpilonhle, having recently arranged the visit of the OneSight clinic to provide eye services to 15,000 students and community members.
