International soccer star Lorrie Fair is in South Africa during this FIFA WORLD CUP month. She has been attending some matches and today she held a coaching clinic at Mtuba Primary with some Academy kids. She is the founder of Kickabout Africa.
She has great football skills. She pays good attention to detail when she instructs the football kids. Each aspect of the game is given a reason why it is so.
“I started playing football when I was about 5-6 years.” says Lorrie. You can tell by her ball control that she has been playing for a long time. There is also a background of other sports.
“In football when you have space it gives you time”. This was her explaining to a young footballer that inorder to give yourself time for decision making you must have space to move between you and opponents.
