New and reinstated field assistants met for the first time on Friday the 13th of July 2012 at Mpilonhle offices for signing of contracts and plenary of this year’s calendar .
This term , we have about 21 Home Base Carers that got appointed , 12 Gardeners from different schools , 18 General workers , 13 Skillz coaches , 8 Artists and 1 Caretaker , making it a total number of 80 people who signed the contract .
There will be some training to take place , of which we will only know about it once IDT finalize their schedule . This will be a good start once again for making a come back to some of this services that haven’t been active for some time now ,thanks to IDT for recognizing the importance once again of making a different to people’s lives .
Most people who makes it to this team , normally its people who have completed their matric and serve their respective communities with respect and dignity , that’s how selection process is conducted . We normally get committed appointees , and we hope this will make the best team ever than the ones we had in the past .
