Mpilonhle Staff Training January 2010

The first week of training was spent having a look at some of the Mpilonhle policies regarding ethics at the work place. This served as a reminder to others about acceptable behaviour at work.
The second week was packed in activities. The first 3 days we had a workshop from organisation called IPAS. They deal with Sexual Reproductive Health Rights for Adolescents and the values. Each member of staff was actively involved in the discussions and presentations of the findings.
Day 4 was based on Data collection and how the M&E team works. On day 5 we had a look at logistics planning for Electronic Registration and Tom Shoes distribution. We also had a look at roles each field worker has in the field and how it can change.
The third and final week of staff training there was Computer Training for the staff held by the IT team (Sakho, Siphakahle, Sifiso, Siyabonga and Rajesh).
During the week there was also a workshop from RHRU in the context of TB, HIV and AIDS.
It was a very vital 3 weeks spent at La colline as it helped to map out a way forward for everyone.
