DNA Leads to African Roots
American talk show host and our Mother of course Oprah Winfrey is one of the thousands African American
who traced their African roots via DNA mapping .She discovered that she was a descedent of the Kpelle people of LIberia . since DNA mapping made it possible to trace ancentry , ten thousands around the world have taken tests. but the process is of particular interest to Black Americans becuase it offers to reverse the terrible forces separation from their home. Too many Africans , Barack Obama’s triip to Ghana represented a home coming for the first African American president - a son of world poorest continent who attained Global power . Obama’s heritage includes Kenya and his father came to United States as a foreign student.
Mpilonhle FC’s current status on the pitch .
As you all might have heard of our recent feature with Silethukukhanya HIgh School was of huge disappointment , I felt so angry with the match referee who couldn’t give us a well deserved penalty ,however I wouldn’t complain more as we had couple of chances that we failed to convert infront of goals . I think we had excellent striking force with the likes of Mpi ( Scuthe ) and Siyabonga ( Shoeshine ) , but also bit worried with their weight .Thanks to Bheki for his consistent performance he produced on the match day , he frustrated the strikes the whole match, as Nomandla was always caught unmarked an number of occasions .but still ,I think we were the better team on the day…..All the best to the for our next feature of which I think we’ll play against the Police force . We should expect to see Anele back to the squad after recovering from an ankle injury.
New Challenges for South Africa
It was a sad day for all African as hundreds are still in tears after a shocking misconduct by Ivorain fans when they forced to enter a 30 000 capacity stadium in Ivory Coast on Sunday afternoon ,the stand was expected to have only 30 000 fans according to the tickets being sold on the match day when the Elephants were entertaining the struggling Malawians who are still in a campain of qualifying for the Africa Cup . A huge crowd of supporters who did not have tickets forced passed armed security to allow themselves in the Stadium, where accidentailly a wall felldowm and hundreds of people got injured and leaving fourth dead. This is wake-up a call for South African Footaball Association (SAFA) to make sure such things does’nt happen in our foootball . We have Confideration Cup coming in about a month , and a biggest tournament in the World the FIFA World Cup . I’m hoping South African to deliver only the best the world has ever tasted in this tournament.
